Hey, I'm 100% likely to get that at 3am and not be stoned, I'll be drunk and my wife will be driving and rolling her eyes at whatever I think is funny at the moment.
 
Fuck American Airlines.

Due to "mechanical issues" I missed a connecting flight by 20 minutes and even after booking what will be now a red eye due to limited options, they tried to tell me I would have to downgrade and fly coach for an extra added leg of the trip that I had to arrange by my damn self just to get home before butt fuck early tomorrow.

Um, no. I had to spend 40 minutes on the phone and talk to three people, but I got my way.

Ever since US merged with American, I hate it.

Anyone have good experiences with other airlines?

If you can take them I still have good experiences with Southwest. Bad with Continental. Just meh with American.

Yeah, I liked Southwest before when I have taken them, but that cattle farm boarding process freaks me out.

Granted I have only taken them twice. Maybe there is something I don't know.

Yeah, but if you get checked in early enough that boarding process is very nice. Plenty of overhead space and you can get a good window seat away from the engines. The down side is you can't reserve the seat you want. But they do have the early checkin option that's like an extra 10 bucks that lets you checkin something like 48 hours in advance.

My baseball team is ridiculous...we won our first game 16-0 and our second game 19-0. We've given up 1 hit, 2 walks, and 1 HBP over 8 innings. Redonkulous.

In the past few years I've only flown a few times - 3 with Southwest and once with US Airways. I'd do SW every time over US. No problem with any of the SW flights: on time, no lost bags, friendly crew. The one US flight I took was 3 hours late, the flight attendant was a Nazi, the autopilot put us into a steep climb and then a nose dive in the middle of the flight for no reason, and they lost my bag. And they didn't even pass out peanuts.
