Do y'all get a headache after drinking beer? The reason I ask is because I get a headache after drinking a couple of non-alcoholic Bucklers. I thought hangovers were from the alcohol. Maybe its from the wheat or something?

I do not get a headache whilst drinking beer. I don't even get a headache the next day anymore, most times. I'm sure Sunday I will, and then I will have to come in here and eat crow because of my calling other people little girls for getting hangovers.

I used to get massive hangovers when I got shitfaced on shit beer like bud, miller, or coors type beers.

Maybe it's just a coincidence but since I've become strictly a craft beer drinker, hangover headaches almost never happen.

I'm assuming its because they are more well made and with better ingredients.

Bud, Miller, and coors all use a shit ton of corn and rice in their beer because its a lot cheaper than good quality grain.

I'm considering drinking after the 20 year mark. I don't know if I will at this point though because I was a stone cold screw up back then. Self control was not my strong point.

Not to drunkenness though...just for a relaxing/enjoyment thing.

I have no doubt that you can handle it at this point in your life. It is a slippery slope though. You get a couple beers in you and start to enjoy that buzz then the next thing you know you're 6 beers in, drunk, and will wake up hung over and regretful.

That's what I don't want to happen. It's not a moral issue with me as far as drinking. It just the fact that I haven't done well with it in the past.

Smoke some weed instead. No hangovers, no "oh crap, what did I do/say last night?", etc. Definitely relaxing and enjoyable. Come on, all the cool kids are doing it!

Actually, I'm probably more inclined to side with KBrown. You've gone this long without alcohol you might just want to leave it alone. Let me know if you want to try weed again though. I'll swing down to New Braunfels.
