Test...

Hour long commute. Fuck a whole bunch of that noise. Takes me 10 minutes to get to work and the entire 10 minutes I'm usually screaming for people to get the fuck out of my way. I don't know how you big city boys do it.

:lol

It isn't everyday that I do this, but still, Houston is a commuter city and you're not driving for less than 30 min to work unless you live right smack dab in the middle of the city. But for those of us in the suburbs? It's 30 min at least.

My hour long commute is only on Tuesday mornings and that's because I have to drive to the data center on the other side of town. If I didn't leave the house at 5:30, that hour long commute would be close to 90 min to 2 hours.

Day four... I tripped up a little last night when me and the wife went out to the bar with some friends. Slight stumble, but I think I'm back on track. Please pray for me.

You can't even quit correctly.

I had a conference in Houston last year, and my cousin picked me up to go to dinner one of the nights I was there. Took us an hour and a half to get to the restaurant and I don't think we left the city limits. The whole time we were driving was nothing but solid self-reassurance that I would never live there.

We very rarely travel up to ATL, but when we do there is lots of cussing, pointing, and passing.

It's amazing how few people understand Interstate etiquette.

Traffic is awful here, man.

It started getting this way in 2005 due to a combination of the housing market booming which caused people from all over the east and west coasts to move here, and the Katrina peeps that permanently relocated.

Houston went from just under 2 million people to now close to 5. As a result, the traffic is absolutely miserable now.

I've found that people in general are just stupid.

Lubbock has like 250k people in it. Plenty big enough for me.

Tell me about it.

If you want to drive the speed limit, stick to the right and leave the left lane for those of us who don't drive like old ladies.

The worst are the two assholes who are going the exact same speed on each side of the interstate leaving you with nowhere to go. :mad

That last point is the one thing that pisses me off more than anything. If you are going to go the same speed as someone in the lane next to you, get the fuck over and go that speed behind or in front of them. Inconsiderate motherfuckers.

Interstate mcnuttz is a rotten guy.

He will flip off a van full of school children if they're coasting in the fast lane.

I used to plug my iPod into the car and play this song with my daughter in the front seat. Used my Batman voice and just kept yelling "Rachel" at her. It did increase our driving speed.

Hate Atlanta. Bunch of rude people. Better get your state in line.

Driving in Nebraska is much different from driving in Vegas. First off, an obscene amount of people are drunk on the streets in Vegas and generally have sportier cars. People here definitely stick to the speed limit...I am always amazed at the number of people are the freeway that actually drive under the speed limit.

Finally the music collaboration I have been waiting for...Rhianna, Kanye, and..............................Paul McCartney.

:picard

I'll bet they are saying the same thing.
