On the level of Fran Drescher?
I don't know, Fran makes my britches tight.

I understand this to be the proper response. Sound track or GTFO.
Might be easier if you used a formula to put an 'x' in an adjacent column for the rows that contain your (x) variable. Then, you could auto filter the heading to only show rows with the 'x'. No scrolling through your spreadsheet to find colors. You could also do pivot table off of the identified rows.

That would have been the fallback plan, but I wanted to be able to note the offending cell directly, making it easier to reference. I don't half-ass shit, Phil.
You could do both then, even with multiple identifiers.

BTW, I figured it out. Essentially. it's a substring formula. Very similar to =ISNUMBER(SEARCH(substring,A1)) replacing "substring" with the variable I want triggered on. In this case it is (X) that I want triggered. Works like a charm.![]()
Glad that's fixed.
Now can anyone help me get into my Yahoo?

Trying to decide whether or not to leave work early.
Just pulled the trigger on getting my daughter's Xmas present, which is what she wanted a MacBook.
Pisses me off. Never spent that kind of money on a laptop for myself.
And she's an Apple person.
You try to raise them right and you get this shit.
. It doesn't get easier.
