I always think that I will enjoy Blue Cheese burgers...and I do...until about the last 3rd of my burger and I end up hating it.

Sometimes it is needed...I use 1000 island dressing too. Sometimes I put BBQ sauce on my burgers at the end and let it caramelize on the burger.
 
I will go and admit this now. I order my burger without tomatoes or pickles.

No tomato I can see. All that liquid can compromise bread integrity, but pickles are essential on a standard cheeseburger

Mustard, BBQ, A1, 1000 Island - all these are acceptable.
