Only $48k a year on a standard? How the hell are they going to be able to retain players?
No shit. If I were a player with a remote chance of making a camp, I don't risk injury for that.

The season kicks off on February 8th. TV contract is with ABC, Fox and ESPN.I have looked for XFL games last year but didn’t find any games. Who carries them and when is their season?

Again thanks. I could not figure out why I couldn’t find games last season but I didn’t happen.No. That was the AAF that folded midseason.
Some interesting rule changes they intend to go with.
I like it. It's something different. This is like a basketball league trying to compete with the NBA by hanging a hoop extra high in the air and calling it 10 points. It's just silly.

I like the fact that they aren't trying to carbon copy the NFL, and both of those rule changes change the entire dynamic of a close game. I like it.It sounds like something that should be featured in an MTV style Rock n Jock game. Fun to watch but probably not something that will make them sustainable. It's just too different.
