Soccer Thread

Bradley continues to be inaccurate with his passes and he's still turning the ball over.
 
No surprise there.

They've completely outplayed us.

That's been all of them. Haven't seen more than three passes at a time while maintaining possession. Too much long ball.

Because the clock never stops moving in soccer, the idea is to try to replace the time that was wasted during injuries/subs etc.

All we need is a draw vs Portugal, and we're in.
 
Bradley and Beasley were pretty horrendous today, I'm guessing Bradley shapes up for the next game but Beasley will be trouble against Portugal. Cameron and Jones were probably our best players today, impressive showing from the two of them, Johnson was solid too although he wasn't able to get out and run on the flank which is when he's at his best.

Brooks was terrible about 6-8 months ago but I guess he's improved alot, aside from the goal he was pretty solid in the back.

If Portugal plays with any heart we're probably going to get trucksticked but if we can pull a draw out of our ass we're through.

Seems like it'd make more sense to stop the clock, then everyone would know how much time is left.
