Norway doesn't have the juice to make it through Brazil, England, likely Argentina and then France/Spain in the final, but they can definitely win today.

It'd be great if they could make the final though, similar to Croatia in 2018 with a charmed run, but they won't win it all.

Haaland is great and a definite top 5-10 player in the world, but they also have another top 10ish guy in Odegard who isn't as flashy.

Why did that Norwegian guy take so long before taking that shot?

Sorloth, he's just not very good is the main thing. He's just a big fuck who should be playing the position Haaland is playing (not as well obviously) but they aren't going to play their best player out of position so they put the lesser player out of position.

:towel

Edit... Welp nevermind

Holy shit how did England miss that

WTF, keeper! :doh

And, yes, I know it was just on certain penalties, but even the test sample size it sucked.

You talking about where the refs essentially went on a quiet protest and often refused to overturn the missed obvious missed/bad PI calls?
Yes, and it was a massive waste of time.

Yeah that did end up being a huge waste of time, mainly due to prideful refs.
Listen, I'm okay with it, but it should be on a challenge, not automatic. And, yes, it should count as a normal challenge and you risk a TO like normal.

If you're referring to pass interference, it failed because the refs wanted it to fail.

It would definitely work if they wanted it to.
