Baseball isn't generally low scoring. The average baseball game records about 9 runs.

An average soccer game scores about 2.5 goals.

It's not close to equivalent.

By the way, football seems higher scoring than it is, because they count by 3s and 6s. The average football game has about 45 combined points, which translates to about 5 or 6 scores depending on TDs vs FGs.

To clarify, I'm referring to the NFL specifically. I'd assume college and high school score more.

Also, as a correction, if the average NFL game scores 45 combined points, that's likely about 24-21. If we count extra points and touchdowns as 1 score (which it kind of is), that's on average about 7 scores in an NFL game (not 5-6). Still a little below baseball on average.

Yea I think I said something to this effect since the tournament started, there just aren't many countries capable of winning it all.

Even if you expand it out to countries who have made a final it's only the ones listed there plus maybe another 3 or so - Netherlands a few times, Croatia (one fluke run), and like Hungary back in the 50's or something.

It's just very hard to break into the top 5-7 teams in the world given how established countries like France, Brazil, Argentina, Spain, Italy, etc. are.

Guess I'm an Ameribro, but cause I really like this guy. And, I am a Norway fan the rest of this tournament. They play the Brits on Saturday at 4 and I hope they stomp that ass.

I cant wait to hear what Cujo thinks about BTS.

BTS is Koreas version of the Backstreet Boys and yes the same kid of popularity that they had back then.

And, we would kick their ass at normal football because they focus on soccer in youth sports and not our football. We can compete more in soccer than they could football I guess is my point.
