Soccer Thread

There are a couple of younger guys that I work with that were talking about the WC and all of the videos and Freddy and everything around it all. Both of them said that watching all of that made them proud to be an American. It was very refreshing to hear. Our country sorely needed the boost in patriotism that the World Cup has brought to us.

I didn't like the fact that he ran away from Twitter after getting some pushback. Stand up for yourself and keep posting.

It wasn't just pushback he got doxxed by Reddit leftists. I kind of don't blame him if he's worried about his family and so forth.

Shocking game between Argentina and Cape Verde currently in extra time.

If Cape Verde pulls this off it's got to be one of the biggest upsets ever.

These will never ever get old to me. I hope and even expect all of these athletes and fans to go back home and tell all of their friends and family just how much they have been lied to about our great country.

I thank God for letting a little truth shine through.

That Argentina vs Cabo Verde match was great.

The defending champs vs an underdog from a tiny country off the coast of west Africa, who most of us had never heard of until recently.

I was hoping to see it go into PKs to see if the pressure of being expected to win would get to Argentina but we were denied that moment in the final few minutes.

The USA game time is officially set at 7 central on Monday.

My stepfather has remarried after my mother passed on years ago and his wife is from Argentina. She has kids as well and they are very much into soccer. I contacted him yesterday after the match to see if everyone was OK after that close one. He told me that he knew better and to just stayed out of reach. LoL.
