I first went to one of those when I was about 35, blew my mind.
The first time is an experience. I have never seen so many country ass people gorge themselves in the American Way in one spot.

Drop by one at 2AM. No damn body is there. Yet, it is the same.

You can tell the company enforces the brand to the employees.

I still find it silly when people try to claim that it's the same as Wawa.

I've been to multiple Wawas across Florida and the mid-Atlantic coast. None of them have the food quality or variety that Buc-ees offers.

First set of games are today.

I don't follow soccer at all. I know a handful of the top players but that's about it. But I will still be locked in watching as much as possible.

I'm really looking forward to finally watching the young phenom from Spain, Lamine Yamal, that I keep hearing people talk about.

I used to go right by the very first Buc-ees in Clute on the way to Surfside Beach in 2006. Was just a pretty normal looking convenience store in that little town. Crazy what it's turned into.

Yamal is nice but if you want a young guy who is arguably as good but not quite as well known, watch Olise from France.

We have a pretty nice group, there aren't any complete walkovers but we're also at least as good and probably better than the other 3 teams. They should be able to win the group without too much drama.
