Yeah sort of reminds me of Sarah Palin after her run for VP. It was just like, holy shit, how is this person a politician. Frankly Kamala is in a free fall to obscurity as well. Just shows you how thoughtless that ticket was. Hey guys, let's just pick a black women and pair her with an elderly man. It's worked before!!!!

Also, her jobs suck.

She's doing work that is not meant to be work that supports a family of five.

But she's too lazy and stupid to change, and she made the cardinal sin of apparently having all them children without a man around to support her.

I didn't even know that job existed. When she said her job my mind just scrolled over it and assumed she was a bus driver.

Would it be any better if she was a bus driver?

That job is for retired folks who are collecting social security and want a little enhancement to their income, not prime age persons who should be working hard to support themselves and apparently 3-4 children.

She's a failure and it's not on anyone else. And it might be a dead end for her now because she's gone down a road through that has left her unable to make meaningful changes due to her weight (she couldn't possibly do anything that is physically demanding at this point), her presumable lack of education or experience, and the ball and chains that she has to feed when they get home from aftercare every day.

Listen, there are arguments out there for why snap may be necessary.

This woman is the last person who should be the posterchild for it.

It's a necessary job at least. Like someone has to drive the buses our children ride in. It's kind of an important position from a safety aspect. And so yeah I do think it's a bit better. I'd put it more on the level of most driving positions. You need a special license and set of skills to be able to do the job.

Now bus monitor? That sounds like a made up position. Like something you tell one of the kids on the bus, today you get to be bus monitor. It's literally a job that a child could handle. It's the equivalant to Walmart Greeter before they started making the Greeter's do shakedowns and checking receipts. It's basically a zero value position that you let someone do to feel like they have some value in life still.

Honestly, the little things a bus monitor would do, is what I thought Bus Drivers just did as part of their job description. Hell as far as I know they do where I live.

It's because we live in a world where we don't think anyone should feel shame. Shame used to be a motivator. You feel shame for the way you look, motivates you to fix it for example. But now you're not allowed to feel shamed, you're supposed to be celebrated for whatever it is. And so the motivation to change or improve is gone.

Again, my heart still goes out to the children who have no means to fix their situation and haven't put themselves in the situation in the first place. But the parents most times did make choices to lead themselves down the life path that they are in. And a little bit of lacking or not having is ok. The idea is it will motivate them to fix their situation.
