The dude genuinely believed in debating opinion and discussing ideas. But he was actually a very kind person. Seeing his wife and little kids just hits a little to close to home for a father of small kids. And the fact that this is the result of wanting to share ideas and debate opinions just disgusts me. You can't let these sick fucks who want everyone to line up like lemmings behind Liberal ideals win.

While liberal ideals are often vile, there is no indication on who the shooter was yet. Let’s not make the same mistake that was made a few months ago where a lunatic right winger went crazy and murdered people. A lunatic is a lunatic.

That's possible but unlikely in this situation in my opinion. Doesn't mean all Liberals are lunatics. No more then a Conservative crazy person killing makes all conservatives lunatics. But this situation feels a little different because of what the guy was doing on campus. And the cheering you see from some over his murder just shows how twisted people are willing to get over a guy expressing opinions and debating just because they don't like his opinion.
