Random Politics Stuff Thread...

He was a registered Republican, with reports from friends, his roommate, and associates of his religious and political views. That’s more evidence than half of the bullshit that people post on here from their “sources”.

It amazes me that folks here need no evidence to attack “teh liberuls” and show how violent they are, but when anyone dares to say anything about a Republican committing a despicable act of violence, they go through every feat of mental gymnastics to discount it. The double standard is embarrassing. They just need to admit that both sides are capable of gross acts of violence and this piece of shit happened to be a Republican Trumpist.
He wasn't a registered Republican in MN. They don't register by party. As I said previously, he was registered that way in Oklahoma, back in 2004. As far as the teh liberuls shit goes, they are usually the ones doing this shit like it or not. Whether or not this is, is a different story, and I hate the piece of shit that did this no matter what party he belonged to. I have yet to see Trump or anyone in the republican party calling for any of this. You can act like they have all you want, but it isn't true.

Political gaslighting is what causes this. You know that. And it doesn’t have to be direct. You know that, too. But, still refusing to acknowledge that it was a “conservative” who committed this act is exactly the type of mental gymnastics that I was talking about in an earlier post. If it was released that he voted for Biden or Harris, you guys wound pounce on this and immediately claim that all “liberals” are violent animals when they don’t get what they want. Well, it happened on the other side, and you skirt around it without accepting the facts. I’ve said for years that both sides do it because the public is littered with ignorant imbeciles and politicians on both sides will leverage that to create division across society. So whether he was registered as a Republican in Minnesota or not is irrelevant. He was a Trump supporter, a Trump voter, and a hardcore far right conservative, i.e., MAGA.

Nobody has said or even thinks that.

I can see this means a lot to you.
What matters to me is equal treatment and recognition of both parties’ failures among their voting bases. I despise both parties, but Republicans make it easier for me to hate them (which says a lot because I find Democrats to be revolting) because of their blind refusal to admit that they are equally as willing and capable of deplorable actions as Democrats.

Have you paid attention to many of the posts around here? They’d certainly suggest otherwise.
Nobody says all liberals are violent. True traditional liberals aren't violent at all.

Now the hardcore leftists, yes, they've used violence throughout history to try to get what they want. And they're increasingly influential in this country. But it's far from all of them, we all know that.

And this guy is clearly on the hardcore far right, which is equally capable of violence and just as influential in this country.

I hope you're just trying to stir up shit, because if you truly mean that you're a bigger idiot than ever given credit for.
If I remember correctly, you were one of the first ones in this thread trying to push the idea that the shooter wasn't a Republican, even though it turned out from everything that's been revealed that he is.

Mike Lee has proved himself scum of the highest order with his recent tweets.

The lengths some of you go to to ignore the fact that there is idiocy in BOTH PARTIES is fucking mind-boggling.

100%. And how many people on the right were celebrating it? Or wishing the other woman had died like the left did with Trump? None, that I've seen. Huge fucking difference.

I agree that both parties are far from perfect, as probably everyone here would, but the left is, clearly, the more intolerant, aggressive, violent, close-minded, and the least self-aware. I find that to be objectively true. I doubt you'll agree.
