You act like that isn’t the narrative as it is.

The fact is, we don’t need anymore fentanyl or low wage laborers camping out at Home Depot. The border should be more secure than the White House. There is and always has been a legal way to enter the United States. Just because a people has mastered the art of running, jumping, and swimming without an Olympic gold medal to show for it doesn’t mean it’s acceptable.

Do you know the requirements for Mexicans to enter legally? Canadians?
Most illegals I’ve talked to would rather enter legally and come and go repeatedly. Basically work for a while and get back to their families.

Do you know how it works? There are temporary work visas for people that want to do that.

Do I consider border’s racist? No, I’ve never said as much. Do I consider the different treatment to Mexicans vs Canadians somewhat racist? Yes. Do I consider someone saying “some I assume are good people” when talking about a race/nationality racist? Pretty much.

Just to be clear, Mexicans are no more a race than Americans are.

The requirements used to ensure that people coming here would have a head start on becoming a productive citizen.

Like knowing the language, knowing the constitution, basically ensuring that people were willing to put the work in to assimilate and have pride in their new Country.

That kind of goes out the window when the line is jumped and there is no real attempt to become an American.

Thank God we don’t treat other facets of American life like that. Going to school to be a doctor is a long and arduous undertaking, I don’t see many unlicensed surgeons hanging out in hospital parking lots offering discounted surgery.

I know multiple people that do it every single year, so it can't be that arduous.

Not at all. That would actually be an improvement. The left already says that, without including the part you have in quotations.

Why does that matter? Decent people are waiting in that very line and doing the right thing. I doubt you let every asshole cut the line at the grocery store if they think the line is too long.
