Some college teams have defensive schemes that are just kind of weird as far as putting guys in good positions to pass rush, and Georgia's is probably the best example.

Speaking of freak athletes and someone we haven't talked about. Jordan Burch from Oregon. 6'6" 295 pounds. He had 8.5 sacks this past year so you know he did produce at least at a decent level. But the reason I bring him up in this discussion is because he is supposedly an athletic freak. If you watch the fake punt the dude ran, he looks pretty damn athletic. Anyway, I've been thinking of guys that maybe fit some of that Buckner type mold for this defense. And Buckner is like 6'7" 295 pounds.

Any thoughts on Burch? I'm sure if he kills it at the combine people will start having more thoughts on this guy. But the size and athletic traits make me think, maybe he would be a fit for DT here in Dallas.

Big fan, ideally in the 3rd but wouldn't hate it in the 2nd. He's kind of like Williams in that he's a jumbo DE who should probably move inside in nickel/dime, but with better production.

Yeah unfortunately looks like he weighed in at 279. Might be a small difference but at 295 I think you could move him to DT full time. At 279, he is more what you're saying.
