And Reese is supposedly a poor man’s Parsons.I choose to believe he projects as a poor man’s Reese.
And Parsons was a poor man's Ware. And Reese is supposedly a poor man’s Parsons.
And Parsons was a poor man's Ware
Exactly my point. And Ware never laid on a trainers table during a game because he was "too tired".I dunno, Parsons and Ware probably similar quality. I guess Ware ended up hitting highs that Parsons hasn’t reached yet and may not ever.

I wonder. I would have thought based on how he started that Parsons would be pushing 20 by now but never has.
20 is really rarified air. There are what, like 10 guys who have ever done it?I wonder. I would have thought based on how he started that Parsons would be pushing 20 by now but never has.

They have almost the exact same number of sacks in their career through 5 years.
Ware was like 8-11-20-11-18. Highs and lows.
Parsons is like 13-13-13-13-13 lol
What I mean though is that Parsons doesn't seem to have really improved from his rookie year.
He came in with like 13 sacks as a rookie and we were thinking, imagine what he'll be in 5 years. And here we are about 5 years later and he's kind of the same.

Lawrence has the length Parsons doesn't, and he uses it to nice effect.Yeah, I have to admit I think Micah was better for GB last year than he ever was here. But he also got hurt before his usual end of season fade, too.
I do think it's fair to say that he wasn't going to hold up at his size and lack of commitment to the weight room. Which might be exactly what happened. And now, who knows if he'll be the same.
He's nowhere near as fast as Parsons
Yep, to me what makes Micah so special is his power. Of course his speed is amazing, but I've never seen a 245 pound guy run right through big o-linemen like he can.Hell no one is. Demarcus Ware wasn't that fast. Reese in this draft isn't that fast. Parsons is a freak among freaks athletically. The freaky thing about his speed is that it also comes with a ton of strength for a guy between 240 and 250 pounds. But pass rushing isn't just about speed. Plenty of guys have speed but never become great pass rushers. It's the combination of speed and power that makes the guy special.
Seriously doubt Lawrence can ever do that, but that's okay, there are other ways to get it done.
But that’s still a Hall of Fame caliber player. What I mean though is that Parsons doesn't seem to have really improved from his rookie year.
