NFL Nostalgia Thread…

Rodman's whole point was to try to demand people's attention.

I shudder to think the depths to which he would be sinking today just to be able to get noticed.
I mean, the sackless POS went to North Korea to try and engage in foreign diplomacy for the US. What he needed to do is realize that he is a nobody and STFU.

Interesting conversation with former players - Ty Law, Keyshawn - talking about Parcells and Bellichick (and Carroll a little).

Garrett's phenomenal, but Reggie White in the strike year of '87 had 21 sacks in 12 games. Lord knows what the final number would've been had he played all 16.
Yeah, I remember Wade saying that exact thing, that 21 sacks in 12 games was the best year he'd ever seen.

I still have my set of these from childhood, and it's a complete set as of like 1996. Like I have the whole league including Jaguars and Panthers. But Browns and not Ravens. Oilers not Titans. Still the original Broncos logo. Still had original Buccaneers logo. Patriots had changed their logo already but I had the updated one. I think I had the original white patriot helmet as well.

I've often wondered if I can buy an updated complete set somewhere.

Edit: It was 1995. That was the Panthers/Jags first year, but also the final year before the Browns became the Ravens. Oilers didn't leave till 97, and didn't rebrand till 99. Broncos and Bucs didn't rebrand till 97.

1995.

Perhaps the best season in NFL history.

I remember those things from back in the 70's.

That was a Dairy Queen thing if I remember correctly. My dad took my KC Royals one and used it as an ashtray, melted the entire bottom of it.
That is so 70s.
