Word circulating that the Lakers are set on Russell at 2. Possibly because Sac wants him and the pick would be in play to get Cousins.

I saw that too...the Sixers will take Okafor and move him to Sac for 6 and other compensation.

Can't blame Sac for this kind of move if true. Cousins is a cancer (although I'd still take him in Boston), but a Russell/Okafor pairing is a nice rebuilding plan.

I just hope Jerian Grant is still available at 18, I think he could make an immediate contribution.

I was hoping there's a chance that Kaminsky would slide to Boston, but apparently he's secured himself in the 6-9 range. Good player.

Cauley-Stein is the guy rumored to slide and I'd take him happily as well.

I'm not a big fan of his. Just seems to take too many bad shots, similarly to Hardaway Jr at Michigan. But at 18, you're just throwing darts at the wall trying to find a contributor and he has a shot.

Sixers trying to get another first...23 from Port...Rashad Vaughn is the target.

I like his overall skill set and he seems coachable, so shot selection could get better.

Houston is trying hard to get rid of Jones and the 18th to free up money to pursue Love or Aldridge. I can see Philly being a match, giving up 2nd rounder so they could take a couple draft and stash players.

Getting rid of that would not free up near enough money, while both are available it will have little bearing on Love or Aldridge.

No, but it gives them flexibility. A few sites are reporting that.

True but they have many other things they can do that gives even more flexibility.

Both those moves saves around 4 million, they can trade K Paps non guranteed and save 5.

This is not a swipe at you just showing how little effort some reporters put into researching for these reports.

Just saying these moves would have little impact in getting max cap room.

@Chris_Broussard: Sources: Knicks currently leaning toward Mudiay if they stay at No. 4, Kaminsky if they move down

PG has never been important in the triangle. I think they take Porzingas.

I really want Russell...he reminds me of Curry. I liked Winslow at the start of this draft build up, but if that doesn't happen I hope they can leverage Okafor being availble into multiple assets.

Towns looks in better shape...more toned. Saw a clip of him the other day and he looked more defined.
