They don't need a plan B, because plan A is going to happen pretty soon. All sign point to Lebron going home. Then Bosh will sign with Houston. The Rockets will dump Lin to 76ers for nothing and also give us something else of value.

Ha, it's a salary dump for Houston. We're doing them a favor. They have to throw in something of value. I'm seeing a #1 pick. Might be another team involved.
 
If you're the Rockets, why pay Parsons 15 mill a year?

The Mavs don't have a choice because we need to bring in talent, but the Rockets don't have to pay him that. Just let him walk and save that money for a real all star next season if the Melo and Bosh moves fail.

If you give Parsons that money, then the Rockets can only go after role players and that's not enough to get them a championship, IMO.

Yeah, the rumors today are that the Bulls and Knicks are discussing S&T but that Phil wants Taj and Jimmy Butler (and assuming more as well).
 
Yeah, and it's also being reported Lebron has definitely made up his mind to return to Cleveland.

C'mon, Melo.

Cleveland-Chicago could be great for the next half decade!!

Rumors are now floating that Dallas and Houston may do the same with Parsons.
 
Idiot or not, I'd sign with the Lakers in a heartbeat. Ever been to LA? No where other than San Diego I'd rather live.

Big deal.

He lives there in the offseason and can spends all the time in the world that he wants to there with all his money.

If winning is truly what he wants, he wouldn't go anywhere near the Lakers right now.
 
I hope Houston and Dallas can do a sign and trade and if not just let Parsons walk that too much money for him, he is a nice young player but his production can be duplicated and it will allow us to get a better bench.

I would go after Deng who would be an upgrade in the short term.

And if we don't get Bosh I would look to strengthen the bench by adding some cheap guys like Xavior Henry, Trevor Booker, Marvin Williams, Aminu or Shawn Marion.

Toward te trade deadline I would be trying to get Millsap from Atlanta who is going to be a free agent after the season.

The Rockets need some productive veteran help I would let Parsons walk. give me Deng and Marion and I would be very happy especially if Bosh signs.
