The last US born white guy to go #1 in the draft was Kent Benson in 1977.
 
I just talked to my son for an hour about the NBA, and it was one on the most glorious hours of my life. He never got into sports when he was younger and to see him so engrossed in it is awesome. /CSB

That's the craziest part about that.

A white guy from the NYC, Chicago, LA or whatever wouldn't shock me. But Maine????

When I think of Maine hoops I think of the competition that Carlton & Will played against on Fresh Prince.

Lots of people whining Clark being left off the women's Olympic team. Chick is a turnover machine atm. She doesn't belong anywhere near that team.

Kyrie playing like ass is the main reason this series isn't 1-1. If he can play to 80% of his potential I think they could win 4 of 5, but the Celtics length is just bothering him too much.
