Bill Simmons is hilarious....the 3, Saric, and LAL unprotected pick next year to move up 2 spots. Sixers get Fultz...ridiculous trade idea and I am getting the feeling that Jackson is the guy the Celtics want. Fine by me...Fultz will be a Sixer then.

They aren't. He's their only legit scoring threat every night and their record when he was out during the season is indicative of how much value he brings.

This is the Cavs losing focus and their ability to play d once again.

No trades have been proposed, it's just Simmons speculating what it would cost Philly to move up.

I do agree/hope the C's are targeting Jackson. I love him and he's a perfect fit. Hell, I'd still sign Hayward and let them play together at times.

They are better off without him. He is a defensive liability and would be a much better team with Fultz.

I known everyone wants to pay homage to the relics, and Jordan was greatness, but Lebron is the greatest.
 
MJ didn't need to form super teams to win a championship.

He also didn't freeze up and choke when his teams needed him most.

And the guy never lost a Finals.

He'll always be the GOAT.

Smug and with an ugly shot is no way to go through the NBA, son. I'm glad that any small shred of temptation to take him should have been erased by this. Part of me wants LAL to pass on him and teach him a lesson, but the other part of me wants them to take a player I don't think is that good.

I really hope the Lakers pass on him and the guy falls to like Sacramento or Minnesota -- clubs in small markets with no real attraction to them.

I would love to see his dad's reaction to that.

It's so ignorant too. If you're a player and you have the choice between going to the Lakers or Celtics right now it's a no brainer. The Celtics were a strong playoff team. The Lakers have been a total disaster for years.

But Lonzo Ball's dad doesn't give a shit about winning. So I guess it makes perfect sense. He'll have more fun partying in LA.

Right.

If anything, they should be doing all they can to convince the Celtics to take him. He'd be one one of if not THE most historic franchise in the NBA which also happens to be an eastern conference contender and will be for a very long time.

That in itself should be enough to scare people from wanting to touch this kid and his family. It shows where their priorities lie.
 
Now there's an article on ESPN saying he would workout for Philly. I would also be happy with him going there.
