I like the really old movies. I've always wanted to see Maltese Falcon but haven't gotten around to it.

I like Hitchcock movies. I've seen a bunch of them, but I'd like to see the rest.

ET is a decent movie but it's way overrated. I haven't seen the Sopranos either but I don't have any desire to. I've seen enough mob movies/shows/etc.

I've seen bits and pieces of Bull Durham but what I saw honestly didn't grab me.

Feel the same way about mob movies. Tried to watch the Sopranos but only made one episode. Havent seen Goodfellas but have seen The Godfather. Just the first one.

Goodfellas and Godfather 2 were great and well worth watching.
 
I've never seen ET, Raging Bull, or the Godfather. I should watch Godfather because my mom loves it and she said her favorite movie ever was 2001, and that's one of my favorites also.

I think I've seen Goodfellas (at least most of it) but thought it was just okay. I liked Casino better.

I'm with booze on not seeing Apocalypse Now. I need to see it because it sounds like my kind of movie.

Sopranos is great, though. I always think a lot of movies or shows are popular just because they're popular and aren't actually that good, but Sopranos is legit. I only really started watching it when HBO was free during Covid and need to finish watching it sometime.

Godfather is really worth watching imo. Casino I haven't seen, but that's the one where I started thinking eh, I feel like this is getting very cliche. So I just never had any desire to see it.

I should definitely see apocalypse now.

It is a different experience than the rest of the genre. Most of the other mob movies show made guys.

Did you like The Irishman from a couple of years ago? It was more in line with that guy trying to distinguish himself. Loyal guy but not the head of the family or anything.

You can watch a lot of them on Facebook or YouTube for free with no commercials And can hit pause if you need to pee make a drink or twist a left handed cigarette

Thanks, yeah I've seen a couple on YouTube. I just watched Suspicion a few weeks ago. Pretty interesting.
 
If there is one movie I have heard of that is supposedly great that I have legitimately tried to watch but was turned off with was Heat.

I know this might come out as blasphemy for some of you, but I have legitimately tried to get into it and I have to stop watching.

It is because of Amy Brenneman. This is at the half hour mark where DeNiro is making out with her that I have to turn it off.
 
they're making a sequel, so you'll get a second chance to like it
