MLB Chatter Thread

Everyone bring your ponchos to the game chatter. Chapo has this issue where he.......... hell, I can't even bring myself to say it out loud.

We saved Venezuela from the evils of communism. There's only one right thing for them to do.

I'm really hoping the plan is for him to only go a couple of innings, but I'm with you, I don't understand it either.

I asked Grok and apparently a bunch of the US pitchers are unavailable either because they pitched recently or their MLB clubs don't want them pitching for health concerns.

I don't know about the other clubs, but I know the Twins' Joe Ryan was wanting to pitch in the last game or this one and was activated to the USA squad when Kershaw was deactivated. But then the team called him back. He started spring training recovering from offseason surgery, then slowly ramped up. He stated he was ready, but now the team wants him back to make one more spring training start, then be ready to start on opening day.

Wish they would stop talking to managers in the middle of a game.

Also fuck Will Smith.

I hate how they interview coaches during games now.

I don't care if it's right before kickoff, in the middle of a game, at halftime, or whatever.

That's what the days leading up to the game and the post game conferences are for and both coaches and players should be completely off limits once they come out of the locker room.

I really hate how each sport has adopted that nonsense.
