The good news for the Mets is, if you are gonna spend, at least spend it on someone who deserves it.

A 31 year old Jacoby Ellsbury is not the type of player the Mets really need to solidify their line up.

Not really a very good try even. We were 4th in the conference in team ERA last year.

Well I was trying to be nice this close to Thanksgiving. Its the least we could do for Canadians since they don't get to be thankful.

Their starters still had a very good era for much of the year. Led the league or at top until September when all the wheels fell off. They were having to pitch 1 or 2 run games for too much of the season.
