MLB Chatter Thread

Just speculation as to why. Lost trust issue is what Evan Grant said that he heard. That's second hand information so take that for what's it's worth.
Sill makes no sense.

Yeah, unless he lost it overnight like an NFL kicker, I don't get this at all. He wasn't great but he saved them several times the last few years when nobody else could get it over the plate.

So reading a little more on the situation that wasn't available last night it looks like a money move to give more cushion under the tax threshold. Fuck you Dodgers.

1. He has an option remaining so he could have been sent down.

2. He has had a horrible spring and couple that with a bad injury filled year last year I think they think he will make it past waivers with his salary. They then can sign him to the minor leagues.

3. Creating that salary space could be used to sign Robertson who is still a FA.

Looks like a gamble that could pay out is what I'm reading. This is all from Jamey Newberg and he is basically the pre ESPN version of Ed Werder. Covers the Rangers so close

Except he's way better than Werder ever was...

Well we have a media prediction for the Rangers back in the World Series this year.

Sorry @NoDak , @bbgun , @Texas Ace . Yall can take the summer off from Baseball. It's another Creed summer.

We're still talking about that fluke Ranger championship? It's like when a hillbilly gets his first pair of shoes. He suddenly thinks he "belongs." :unsure

Well our World Series trophy doesn't have cobwebs.

You guys get what, one every hundred years or so?

You're a little early...

Oh look. Another cobweb trophy piping up. Surprised that you can even tell it's a trophy under all of that.

Today is the first MLB opening day in 75 years we didn’t have either Vin Scully or Bob Uecker on the microphone.
