Yankees being close and just in the playoffs is scary.

Yes, it is. But, hopefully he has an agent that realizes the differences between a state that has no state income tax, and one that does. It's about the only advantage we hold.

Maybe not. Supposedly, Yu Darvish has said he wouldn't mind going back to Texas. Ohtani has said he'd love to play on the same team as Darvish, who was his childhood hero.

If that's all it takes, I bring Darvish back with the quickness.

The Astros made a late run at Darvish and in their estimation offered a stronger package than the Dodgers, sources said. The Rangers held a decidedly different opinion, viewing the Astros’ offers for Darvish, both early and late, as non-competitive

"I mean, I'm not going to lie, disappointment is a little bit of an understatement," Keuchel said Tuesday, a day after the trade deadline

How does that make sense? They completely tanked for five years to get into a position like this and GM Jeff Luhnow still won’t go all-in?

“I’m stunned,” an AL executive said on Tuesday. “They had the prospects to get a big piece. There’s a time when you just have to go for it, and this is their time.”

Im really surprised they didnt get more pitching than they did since McCullers and Kuechel are always injured.

For some reason I thought he was already retired.

borderline HOFer. one of the few players with 1,500+ RBIs and runs scored, so he'll probably get in (but not on his first try)

Time to party like it’s 2014?

My childhood stars are both in the HOF now, the team has a World Series win and an MVP... Not sure how to absorb it all.

Uh oh.

So, apparently Carlos Beltran is interviewing for the Yankees' GM position.

Fuck the Yankees.

And, fuck the Angels, too.
