As most of you know, we have had a site tradition for years to do a mock draft with the membership acting as GMs for the respective teams.
We did not do it last year, mainly because we could not fill the draft slots effectively.
This thread is to gauge interest...we want to see if we can get this back on track, so we need to get a firm grasp on whether we can get this done again after a one year hiatus.
This is important to get done, but we want to do it right. Or not at all.
Running one of these is a tough task. It is frustrating for those who take it seriously to get excited and put in the work, only to have a slacker ruin the integrity because they did not do the right thing and live up to their end of the bargain.
A lot depends on you, as a prospective participant.
Sound off if you want the tradition to continue...and above all, if you can be reliable for participating.
We will conduct the draft at some point after the Combine but several weeks before the draft. The debate always comes down to timing. We usually have done them during the week, during working hours, but we are open for suggestions that makes this successful.
Please feel free to share your availability to participate and suggestions to ensure it is as much fun as it can be.
