Yeah, I agree that the O-line was the primary reason for the offensive regression.

If Schottenheimer doesn't happen today I bet they go a different direction, although I wouldn't be surprised if they announced it at like 8 PM to avoid much press about it.
 
I was listening to Cowherd on my drive home from work and he made a good point I hadn't even considered.

The way the Cowboys are dragging their feet, not only will they end up being stuck with a 3rd tier, bottom of the barrel head coach, but the future HC's staff will be filled with nothing but lower quality coaches.

Teams that operate normally have hired their coaches and will be quickly filling out their staffs with the best and brightest assistant coaches. While the Cowboys will be stuck with picked over scraps.

That's a bigger concern to me than the head coach. BS might be okay with excellent coordinators, especially on defense. With leftover cast-offs, it's almost guaranteed to fail big.

Well, I guess I'll be finding other shit to do on Sundays.

This is still better than Moore because it's guaranteed to end in disaster and it'll be over in 2 years.

Hopefully the Jones family gets run over by a bus by then.
