LOL @ The Zone

In Barry’s illustrious career the Lions were 1-5 in the post season. Does that sound to you like a man who could carry his team?

Yeah, but isn't Romo like 1-6 in win or go home games?

"Yeah, but it's a team game"

I heard that in his illustrious career Marcus Allen was never tackled for a loss of yardage. He was stopped for no gain, but never for a loss.

Allen had -3 yards rushing in 1992 against the Chiefs

I was a Fullback, and there is no greater feeling for a FB than having your lead block open a hole for the RB to hit. The Detroit Lions rarely used a FB. The main reason for this was Barry did not hit holes. He danced around, making people miss until he could break free. Not going to lie, that drove me crazy. It was exciting, no doubt, but it drove me nuts. Give me a RB who is going to try to move forward over a ballerina any day of the week.

A quick Google search for "Barry Sanders fullback" gets this:

At age 29 Barry got Tommy Vardell as a fullback and proceeded to put up these numbers:

335/2,053 6.1 ypc 11 TD 128 ypg

at age 30:

343/1,491 4.3 ypc 4 TD 93.2 ypg
--------------

So basically all he's got is...well, the romantic notions of Emmitt being a "warrior" (even though it has been speculated he played through the separated shoulder because he wanted the rushing title just as bad) and the fact that he just personally didn't like Sanders.

Kenny Noisewater is getting sassy up in there...he might want to take a break.

:lol

Osama was all,"what the crap, man? Is that a prosthetic?"

Loved the way he was so adamant that the arm was not prothstetic.

Do you have the 2nd page where his minions try to make excuses for him?

You went gay for a sec there.

Pre-season games don’t mean that much to me beyond a chance to see some hitting and find guys to root for. I haven’t found that guy yet. Maybe this next week as I go see the game live against the Cardinals. Ultimately the rest of pre-season for me simply means don’t get anyone hurt, and knock some rust off. We get the Raiders again on dead bird day. Tonight I sat by a young couple who were split on loyalty. He was a Cowboys fan and she was a Raiders fan. They had fun, and I enjoyed the banter. Tonight she has bragging rights. In November I expect her Thanksgiving dinner to be crow. I don’t think the Raiders have the juice to compete with this Cowboys team straight up without scrubs vs. Scrubs.

That’s just my view form the cheap seats. Oh, and for grins tonight I wore a fedora to go watch the game. That’s right, I had on my Landry Hat. Win or lose, it was fun to see the players I love out there twice in a single week. Look out Phoenix, the Cowboys are coming to take over our home away from home yet again. It won’t count, but I have no doubt I’m going to see aggression again, and I like that. I really like that.

:lol

Dead bird day.

You can just feel him straining his brain trying to come up with creative colloquial-sounding expressions to inject into his writing to give the impression that he's a good ol' boy.

I wonder how much fedora hats go for these days.

I've never heard the term dead bird day for Thanksgiving, but I've never worn a Fedora either...so I'll embrace the ignorance.

So Hos is now
The Taco Hijacker

Is this new or was I asleep?

Looks like it is new. Has a gay new avatar to go with it too.ofSIzaM.jpg

I wonder if it was his idea or a mod's though, but it is nice for it to be acknowledged he's doing nothing but trolling that board now with his Garrett is God bullshit.
