Also...in regards to my bacon...thick cut, which was greatness.

Now for the steaks I grilled last night. As much as I marinade these top round they still are pieces of shit. Actually, the meat is pretty good, but I like the fat to be edible, because it is delicious...the fat on a top round is horrid.
 
So my baseball finished the season in first place with a 6-2 record...and the parent gave me a $50 gift card to Applebee's.

I went to Applebee's 2 weeks ago for the first time in years. Damn that food was nasty.
 
It pretty much is, but you get to sit down and be waited on...my kids think they are high rollers and shit in there.
 
As long as they serve beer, it doesn't matter to me.

But now that I think about it, it has been several years since I visited an Applebee's.

I used to like their riblets before I figured out how to grill.

Speaking of those types of restaurants, they are bringing Bennigan's back in Houston. They closed all of them back in the early 2000's, but now they are trying to bring them back. Only one here for now, so I guess they wanna see how it does.

I went to it and didn't think much of it.
