No one in their right mind should ever expect a rookie QB to come in and set the world on fire. It just isn’t realistic, but it happens every year.

The new trend of tracking practice INTs & TDs is retarded as hell. Practice is when you're supposed to take chances to discover what works or doesn't work.

Yep, it's the time to see if you can fit that pass in and how you fit that pass in. The last thing I'd want my QB to do all practice long is to just check the ball down and play it safe. It's way easier to dial it back once games start as opposed to the opposite.
 
Given all of the Dart chatter I went and watched all of his preseason throws on YouTube and let me tell you, it was...not what I was expecting.

At least 50-60% of his passing yards have come on screens/dump-off's and probably 75% of his completions have come within about 5 yards of the LOS.

He's made maybe 4 impressive throws over two games.
 
You panned Daniels after the Tampa game and he went on to win Rookie of the Year. Stop helping our competition!

There's nothing I can do if the universe decides to bestow a ridiculous stretch of luck on a team.

Daniels is way more talented than Dart though, the assumption is that he'll never be able to hold up running the ball 10-12 times a game every week.

Yeah, one of the talking heads went off on him, how he is manufactured through camp.
