I been wondering, is Pittsburgh like the "black sheep" city in PA or have they gone belly-up too? When I lived in NY, we'd go both Pitt and Philly and they were completely different.In Pennsylvania especially.
I will say we had a judge here years ago who won the Republican nomination. Got 2 DWIs before the election and still beat the Democrat for judge because it's really just how people vote.

The impression I got when in Pitt was the community being more conservative whereas the ppl in Philly were more "in your face" progressive... but that was 25+ years ago.
