In Pennsylvania especially.

I will say we had a judge here years ago who won the Republican nomination. Got 2 DWIs before the election and still beat the Democrat for judge because it's really just how people vote.

I been wondering, is Pittsburgh like the "black sheep" city in PA or have they gone belly-up too? When I lived in NY, we'd go both Pitt and Philly and they were completely different.

The impression I got when in Pitt was the community being more conservative whereas the ppl in Philly were more "in your face" progressive... but that was 25+ years ago.

Philly is in your face about everything but yes, the city proper is very left.

Pittsburgh I don't know about but I believe they've voted Democrat at least lately.
