I have a friend in the helicopter business and he always warns me that helicopters are dangerous, relatively speaking, versus planes, cars and trains. Especially the helicopter tours.

Helios, as a vehicle, are much safer than a plane (esp. with an experienced, qualified pilot)... in an emergency, helicopters can land quicker and, if they lose power, can still perform a controlled landing under "auto-rotation". To your point though, helicopters are much more difficult to pilot.
 
I did a helicopter tour with my daughter a couple of years ago in HawaiI. Really beautiful but being in a helicopter just feet from a sheer rock cliff is nerve wracking to say the least. Probably won’t do another one.
 
They are saying that all of his daughters were onboard too.

This is just horrific.

I'm sick.

Conflicting reports about that. Everybody needs to chill and get some facts out there, especially when talking about the children.

I caught that during the live broadcast but can't find anyone else saying that. Actually everyone else is saying they weren't
 
Awful.

Man....I was no Lakers fan and I'm not a huge basketball fan but this is really bothering me.

It's just making it much worse that any of his children were onboard.

I'm truly stunned and sick to my stomach.

Same, not a fan of the team at all, but Jesus this one hurts.
