I also wouldn't hesitate to take Dupree at 27 if he was there, you could put Hardy at DT in the nickel/dime and have a line of Lawrence-Crawford-Hardy-Dupree in passing situations.

All this does is free up our draft and not make us more desperate. I'd still love to add talent to the DL if it's there, and it'd be one of my top priorities, but we don't have to feel desperate for it.

I'd like DL in round one, but with Hardy/Lawrence I doubt we take another DE. And Marinelli has been quoted as saying a 1-tecnique isn't worth using a 1st rounder on. We could make an exception at 27, but I think it'll come down to RB/CB/LB.

Gurley, Gordon or Kendricks at 27?

Fine by me, just no CB's.

We've already met with Brown and Goldman at the combine so hopefully they are legitimate considerations that spot.

I have no clue how reliable he will be or how long he will be here when considering his off the field issue, but just going by talent alone, he's definitely a centerpiece. There aren't 5 4-3 DE's in the league better than him and probably not 10 DL's overall (based off 2012 and 2013 obviously).
