If he slips to us, I am sure we trade the pick to someone who didn't take a QB high.

There is a lot of talk that only one QB, probably only Bortles, goes in the top ten.

Honestly, unless I saw an impact defender like Donald or OL like Martin, I consider him really hard instead of taking a DL just to take one.
 
I love Manziel and would be disappointed if we pass on him, but if it is a good trade down, I am fine with it. Can't get fixated on one player.

Not really. He's got a similar skillset to Newton, who is out until camp.

Plus, they got Tiquan Underwood today. They are set.

So do I. Tampa is moving on up. Atlanta won't be as bad as last year and I expect the Saints to be strong still.

Too bad because they showed a lot of guts last year, but you just can't allow an offense to fall apart like that, especially when it was not that great to begin with.

They have serious cap issues and a cheap owner. Bad combo.

The Sirius guys were mentioning KC as a darkhorse. But didn't Reid butt heads with Jackson before?
 
I thought Reid had issues, but he may be desperate for a WR playmaker.

They got raped in FA. Lost a good chunk off the OL and even on defense. They are another team I see taking a step back with the Panthers.
 
Just weird to me that two teams as close as KC and Car did not try and keep the group together and add pieces to what they had.

Yeah, surprised me too. But I know Carolina has cap concerns and the Chiefs are not exactly rich in that area either. They both look like they are being deliberately cheap.
 
Carolina in particular surprises because it would seem like now is the time to surround Cam with weapons.
