Cowboys lose core special teams player Danny McCray to the Bears

The Bears added Danny McCray on Tuesday, signing him to a one-year deal. McCray was a core special teams player for the Cowboys after arriving as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2010.

McCray joins former Cowboys special teams coordinator Joe DeCamillis in Chicago. He led the Cowboys in special teams tackles for two of three seasons the two were together in Dallas.

McCray had eight special teams tackles in 2013, finishing his Cowboys' career with 73 special teams tackles.

He follows DeMarcus Ware (Denver) and Jason Hatcher (Washington) out the door.

This stuff blows me away.

"Core special teamer".

No, Dwayne Harris was our "core special teamer". This dipshit wasn't even practicing half the time.

New NFL rule..whenever a defense lines up Danny McCray at Free Safety, other team is automatically assigned 6 points.
Goodell: Hmm, eliminating those plays would technically be good for "player safety". Done.

What the 8 special teams tackles over the course of a 16 game season don't impress you?

I am just amazed that with the rich history we have had with special teams demons that this shithead is ordained as a core special teamer.

Are we so used to being shitty that we elevate turds to higher levels than they deserve? I guess so.

Yeah, good luck with that.

He's better off waiting until training camp and some depth poor team loses a starting RB.

Damn.

According to Schefter...the Raiders are trading a late round pick for Matt Schaub. LAWL
