I think the silence surrounding Murray is telling. Who is going to pony up big dollars for him? Jax? Oak? Jax just gave decent money to Gerhart last year...are they going to do it again? I wouldn't put it past the Raiders, but I just don't see it happening.

Even though they have OL problems, Gerhart was extremely bad last year and lost his job a couple of times. They'll move on from him quickly.

Jags pushing hard for Bulaga as well.

The Gerhart signing was not smart and signing Murray would not be smart either. Murray is a guy who could push a team into contender status...he can't do that in Jax. Bortles is not close to ready and they just need a keep adding young talent through FA and the draft.

If they add Bulaga, I think they have 2 solid tackles to work with and just need to add interior pieces. If they do that this offseason, Murray can be effective there. That'll take a ton of pressure off Bortles and the young WR and they will improve.

By the time they are ready to compete at a high level he will be too old. It is a bad fit. Go sell your Jaguars BS somewhere else.

It's not BS. He's 27. If they make the moves they want to make and those pan out, they can compete by 2016. He's still in his prime for that team.

But if Parnell is the plan at RT, it's not a good start.
