The total contract isn't that surprising to me, but that signing bonus is insane for a non-QB. 60 mil in guarantees is off the chart. Of course not all contracts have been insane. Look no further then the Packers resigning of Cobb. Now that is a very reasonable contract for a young stud WR.
 
Maclin supposedly close to an agreement with Chiefs.

the eagles offseason is horrendous. wayyyy overpaying for these players and also getting rid of McCoy and Maclin is fantastic for us. Gore will be a RB for the eagles for 1-2 seasons and that is it.
 
Some of these numbers are insane and while I'm on the fence about keeping Murray to begin with, if he wants a contract even close to some of the ones being doled out, bye-bye.

Screw it, sign a couple of solid FAs for some of our positional needs to compete for a starting job or roster depth, make sure we do our homework leading up to the draft and please pray that we have ended this philosophy of drafting players that were projected as high picks but drop because of an injury history.

That's a pretty good contract. Very good young pass rusher. Sad to see him off the market because it's one less DE out there to drive the price down on guys.

I hope Murray is smart enough to understand that he got that contract because it's the Bills, but I doubt he'll care.

Players rarely ever look at the situations for what they are.
