It says Adam and Eve, not Adam and Ste--

Wait, it really does say Adam and Steve.

Weird

I almost might have not felt nauseous about this draft if we took Telvin Smith and not Hitchens.

Aside from Jerry going full retard with the Hitchens pick, I don't mind this draft. I think we got good value with most of the guys. Will Smith is pretty useless though.

Yep, subtract the 2 LB picks and only gripe would be trading away the 3rd. The Smith pick in the 7th would be more tolerable to me as well if we didn't take the Iowa scrub earlier.

Mike Loyko ‏@NEPD_Loyko 4s
Chris Whaley, DT, Texas is reportedly going to Cowboys

minus two picks, i liked everything. The trade in the second was hard to swallow but if thats he guy they coudn't lve without, I'm fine with it. Hopefully he becomes a stud

Homer aside, Will Smith isn't a horrible pickup in the 7th. He is generally around the ball and plays with some great aggressiveness. Not sure he makes the roster, but he is one that I can see having a decent career.

Will Smith has more upside than that Hitchens guy.

Seems like Terrance Mitchell might have been the highest rated guy that we drafted in the 7th. Some publications said 3rd or 4th.

I would have guessed Bishop or Dixon.

Hopefully Mitchell and Dixon stick at least as backups. If we get nothing else out of this, if we can get good DB depth from the end of this draft, it could at least prevent us from using resources in other years on the position.

No, I'm not complaining about selecting Smith there given that we did seem to be productive in the 7th.

The sad part is how we screwed everything up in the 2nd-3rd-4th rounds.

If you could have given me

2 (47) Timmy Jernigan
3 (78) Kareem Martin
4 (119) Carl Bradford

Tell me how much better this draft looks.

1 (16) OL Zack Martin
2 (47) DT Timmy Jernigan
3 (78) DE Kareem Martin
4 (119) OLB Carl Bradford
5 (146) WR Devin Street
7 (231) DE Ben Gardner
7 (238) OLB Will Smith
7 (248) SS Ahmad Dixon
7 (251) DT Ken Bishop
7 (254) CB Terrance Mitchell

I actually would have been happy with that. B+ or A-.

That would've been a really nice haul. Telvin Smith in the 4th would've been even better.

Jeffcoat to Seattle

I actually would've liked to have signed him. I'm not the biggest fan of his, but I want as many bodies as we can get who have any shred of ability to rush the QB.
