Actually, I'll amend that. It was an unconscionable Day 2 whiff. The first round was fine. The 2nd round player was fine too, the trade was just a whiff.

Looks like we're going to be in for another year of our UDFAs outperforming our drafted players.

Guaranteed to happen.
 
Obviously we have no clue who our UDFAs will be at this point but I'd still be willing to bet the UDFAs pwn the draft picks.

Honestly, when was the last time you truly enjoyed a Cowboys draft? 2005, maybe?

Better yet, when was the last time the Cowboys picked anyone you wanted between the 2nd and 4th rounds?

Two things are guaranteed to happen every draft with this team - they will either make a stupid pick or trade, if not multiple ones, and they are guaranteed to never pick any of the guys we all want.

In a way, it's kind of good that the draft isn't the all day event it used to be on Saturday, because I wouldn't be able to enjoy it anyway.
