How's this...the only player the Cowboys got between picks 37 and 146 in what is considered to be a draft with lots of value in the mid-rounds is Anthony "widely regarded as an ass end of the draft type/special teamer at best if he even makes the team" Hitchens. How does that sit with you?

The problem is so few chances to improve. Zach Martin and Demarcus Lawrence have to be a pro-bowl talents to salvage this draft. They needed so much help on defense and instead throw a bunch of band-aids at it and spin their wheels until next year.

Did they improve the front seven from where it was? How could they not have? Did they build for the future... Crawford, Lawrence... guess that's a no.

Thank God. No douche McCarron for us.

If there is one thing I am glad for, it is the fact we didn't draft him or Kony Ealy.

Thank you, draft gods.

It is pretty clear that they saw last year as an anomaly with the injuries on the DL.

Nothing they have done suggests they were looking at other weaknesses either (Carter's poor play, the safeties sucking ass, etc.)

So I just get back and find out we take a LB from Iowa. Anthony Hitchens.

GREAT PICK! This guy is always around the ball. He should start almost immediately on the strongside, and can slide inside incase of injury to Lee. I'm shocked he was still there for us to ta...

Aww, who the fuck am I kidding?

Advance tickets for the new Sandler movie are available on May 13th, FYI. Otherwise, well you know the rest...

Still waiting for C-rock.

I think the Hitchens pick was a result of Carter's poor coverage.

And that's great. What the Cowboys scouts stated with the pick is that he's better at coverage than Telvin Smith and Pierre-Louis. Right?

We put a lot of time into Telvin. I'm assuming his recent diluted test f'd with us.

And I take the more talented pothead each and every time.

agreed. the hutchins pick is just mind numbing. It's the worst pick in the draft and I don't even know if he can make the roster. Still, I think the rest of our picks so far will contribute this upcoming season.

Telvin Smith is just overall a much better player

As would I. But this team has been quick to dump nice prospects in draft prep in the last 5 years. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Telvin wasn't even a consideration anymore.

Not being melodramatic, but you are right. It was the biggest reach in the entire draft.

But he will make the roster. Oh yes, without a doubt.

If for nothing else to keep from admitting how awful the pick was.

He's a guy we will quietly divorce ourselves from in a couple of years at the final cuts.

Whoever drafts Brandon Coleman from Rutgers is going to be extremely disappointed. The guy has rock hand fever worse than anyone I've ever seen. Unbelievable frame for a WR, just can't catch the ball

Jim Harbaugh is so weird. I like it.

And I liked the Hyde and Ellington picks. Hyde is their RB day one.
