There could be a couple guys there in the 4th but we definitely need to go DT with the 4th or 5th.
 
One good thing I will say about Lawrence is he could play OLB in a 3-4 if next year's Head Coach prefers that defense.
 
They are basically admitting that he was the last natural pass rusher.

They panicked.
 
Stephen: Only one other player that could help us on DL, but Lawrence was only one at RE. We really wanted this guy. We felt he could go and didn't want a chance. We have a good relationship with Snyder and Bruce Allen. We sweetened the pot a little bit.

Stephen: We really look at what we give up for that player..and it was a 3rd round pick. We really wanted to help defense and this guy is unique. Can play RE. We feel like he's got all the things you want at RE.

Yep, pretty much as I expected.

If we can find a decent space-eating DT in the 4th or 5th I'm actually pretty pleased with our DL but we'll probably end up with some fucking TE.
 
There it is. I knew Jerry couldn't last too much longer without mentioning DeMarcus Ware.
 
Stephen got a little defensive when asked if smart to trade with a rival/did he give up too much. he said maybe the other team didn't get enough, depends on how you look at it.

So I'm hearing we did something stupid?

It wouldn't be the draft if we didn't.
