He's been pushing Lawrence all morning all twitter.
Broaddus is saying a couple things on DC.com radio show today.
1) They are strongly, strongly considering moving up for "their guy" along the DL. He keeps mentioning "right end" but I don't think he knows who their guy is specifically.
2) That trade up would probably cost a third, and he's ok with that.
3) Says "Forget about Hageman." Sounds like he knows it's not Hageman.
4) Says he likes Crichton and Ealy but thinks those guys are left ends, not right ends. Sounds like he's implying Demarcus Lawrence, without saying it explicitly.
The other guys on the show are resisting him on that, saying there are way too many DLs around to trade up for one, that if they stay put, they'll get a good DL, and keep their third rounder to boot. I'm with them.
He's actually throwing a little minor tantrum about it. None of the three other guys on the show are agreeing with him and he's clearly bothered that none of them seem to mind if they get Lawrence, Ealy, Crichton, Jernigan, etc. And he's like "NO IT MUST BE LAWRENCE HE'S A FIRST ROUNDER AND INSTANT RE STARTER"

Broaddus loves Lawrence but who knows if the Cowboys love him as much as he does. They've shown a lot of interest in Kony Ealy haven't they? He could be their guy.
~booze has aneurysm in 3..2..1..~
The guy always seems like he's a split second away from a tantrum. Seems like the type of person that wears out his welcome everywhere he goes.

Dallas Cowboys: Notre Dame OT Zack Martin at No. 16
Nothing against Johnny Manziel, and I get that Tony Romo is 34 years old and coming off a back injury, but drafting Manziel would have created a nightmare in Dallas. Given the needs at other positions and the potential friction it would have caused in the quarterback room and across the offense, I think the Cowboys would have run the risk of losing the locker room if they had taken Manziel. I also think Martin (the No. 9-ranked player on our board) can step in right away and contribute at right tackle or left guard, and his arrival makes this a really formidable group. The Cowboys have now spent three first-round picks on offensive linemen in the past four years, solidifying an area that was once a major weakness. That's good roster management.
He used to post a little bit over at the zzzzone. I used to fuck with him over there when I still had my NoDak account. He was prone to tantrums there, too.![]()
Broaddus did? Under what name?
