DCC Appreciation Thread...

So, after buying that new grill, I needed to sell my old one. Put it on FB marketplace and the first part on the convo went like this.

The part about giving humanity a chance was mostly a joke. I asked him for a picture of DL and his license plate to give myself a little confidence in him paying me on Monday for a hamburger today. I did it because I hoped beyond hope he was telling the truth and this would make her b-day party better.

He brought her with him to pick it up and this 6 year old girl jumped out of his truck and ran up to our front porch and hugged me. She looked up at me and told me that now her daddy gets to make her and her friends hamburgers for her birthday. Even if, for whatever reason, the guy doesn't pay me, the look on that little girl's makes it well worth it.

But, the guy reminded me about taking the pics before he left, so I feel pretty confident he will pay me.
 
I wouldn't do such a thing, but getting his DL and plate # probably means you'll get your money.
 


I have never understood the point behind oscillating fans.
 


They started with the baby babbling, but this recent turn is horrific. Everyone in that ad agency should be fired. It is bad when a commercial turns you off the product.
 
I’m at lunch and this chatty little waitress won’t catch a clue. I’m looking at my phone for a reason. Take your cackling ass elsewhere. I’m doing important shit here. :unsure
 
This young lady didn’t charge me for my tea. Like I was saying, she is really good at her job. :unsure
