True but I don't salt a cake as I'm slicing it up.
But, it gets salt added as it is being made. The ground doesn't salt watermelon as it is being made. You're just helping out mother nature after the fact.

But there's a difference between adding salt before cooking versus after cooking or something raw which makes it a harsher saltier flavor.
 
Uhh, yeah. Same with cantaloupe.


I like it on Cantaloupe, along with a lot of pepper but never care for it on watermelon.

These moves are iconic, which is what makes John Travolta's dance performance in Saturday Night Fever look a bit silly and dated in stretches as he copies these moves-- impressive physically, but very unoriginal and out of place for a disco solo.
