Cowboys still refuse to run and they let a close game turn into a blowout b/c of it

NFL Radio was just talking about the Niners fans taking over the stadium, and how the noise may have affected the team, as they didn't prepare for noise in their own stadium as they would have on the road. Pat Kirwan said he believes on 2nd and goal from the one, when Romo audibled out of the run to the pass and took the sack from Justin Smith, that Tyron Smith didn't hear him change the play. That the way he looked coming out of his stance, it didn't look like he was setting up for pass blocking.

So Romo threw a pick before the Murray fumble?

No, I'm saying the Murray fumble is what ended the game being close and it was before Romo threw his first pick.

That was the first series of the game by either team. Like the 3rd or 4th play. It was scoreless at that point.

Right, before the second play of the game was the last time it was close. Good lawd, people. :lol

You are the one who quoted CowboysRock saying "Before the first pick of the game" and replied with "You mean the 2nd play of the game?"

Romo's 1st pick was actually, including kicks, the 29th play of the game.

I'd say when the game was 7-3 we were still close. After that is kind of when the wheels fell off. You had a 3 play TD followed up by a Romo INT to gift wrap them another TD.

:picard

If you were talking about when it was close, then why didn't you quote GForce when he said "when the fuck was it close?" You chose to quote the statement "Before Romo threw his first pick" to make a direct reply to.

Yea, after that little sequence of events I pretty much knew we were in deep shit considering the fact that Murray had been running it straight up the Niners asses the entire drive. Then of course a few drives later on 1st and goal from the 4 or 5 we pass again and dumbass Romo throws across his body against the grain into triple coverage for a pick.

And then down 28-3 we again passed on 2nd and 3rd down from about the 3 yard line, only scoring when we ran a draw to Murray on 4th down.

Completely fucking pathetic and it's why I'm 100% fed up with both Garrett and Romo, and want them both gone.

And yet, that was just the fugly assed beginning of what was to be an arse rape of a quarter of football.

I was correcting him. It wasn't when Romo threw his first pick, it was before that. Like right before the second play of the game when it was still 0-0. I figured that was clear when I used "You mean" in the sentence, but apparently not.

To be sure:

1-10-DAL 20 (15:00) PENALTY on DAL-77-T.Smith, False Start, 5 yards, enforced at DAL 20 - No Play.

1-15-DAL 15 (14:54) 9-T.Romo pass deep middle to 83-T.Williams to DAL 33 for 18 yards (26-T.Brock). Pass complete on a "slant" pattern.

1-10-DAL 33 (14:17) 29-D.Murray left end to DAL 35 for 2 yards (51-D.Skuta). FUMBLES (51-D.Skuta), RECOVERED by SF-29-C.Culliver at DAL 35. 29-C.Culliver for 35 yards, TOUCHDOWN.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
How's that for efficient?!
And then there was:
2nd and 1 at SF 2 (8:18) (Shotgun) T.Romo sacked at SF 11 for -9 yards (J.Smith).
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Was it close here when it was 2nd & 1 at the 1?

7-3 is not a close game? Ridiculous.
