ESPN - Panthers to use franchise tag on Pro Bowl DE Greg Hardy who had 15 sacks last season - source
 
ESPN - Jets franchise K Nick Folk who converted 33 of 36 field-goal attempts last season
 
 
Jimmy Graham is scheduled to make $7.035 million in 2014 under the terms of the tight end franchise tag.

That number could jump to $12.312 million if Graham wins his likely forthcoming appeal to be considered a wide receiver. Both sides could avoid any confrontation by hashing out a new long-term deal. The other offensive numbers were also announced. Quarterbacks will cost $16.912 million, running backs $9.54, and offensive lineman $11.654.

Cleveland has the picks and money to get it done either way. If I were them though, I'd just keep T.J. Ward.

Pretty sure it just isn't valued in this defense. Chicago never spend a top pick on it even though it was clear they had shit. Tampa had Lynch, but he wasn't a high pick either.

According to Fisher, teams aren't built by handling the cap correctly, rather they can just draft well and make up for being in cap jail.

Fisher is becoming an annoying corksucker lately.

It is almost like he's on the team's payroll as much as he apologizes for our cap incompetence.

He's always been a Jerry ass-kisser, but he's really stepping up his game this year.

I don't think it would be smart for GB, but I'm doubting Seattle can get a player who would make a Graham type impact at 32. I'd consider it if I were them.

If it were just one 1st round pick, I would do it if I were Seattle, but 2 1sts? Hell no.
