Butler is debatable. But fucking John Lynch?What makes it worse is that, he kept playing at an extremely high level even after the glory years ended, but it's like people stopped paying attention as the Cowboys descended into mediocrity.
He was having one of the greatest seasons of his career in 2000. It could have been his 5th All Pro recognition but he broke his arm against the Ravens in November -- a game that he came back into and played with one arm!
I still remember John Madden commenting on what a game he was having with one arm.
It's a shame that people remember both Leroy Butler and John Lynch more than him when he was better than both.
